In addition to the merchandise, they will also be offering apparel items from their collaboration with MILKFED (Japanese fashion brand).

Studio CloverWorks was in charge of the production, with Keisuke Shinohara as director. Square Enix Manga publishes the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:

My Dress-Up Darling is a Japanese manga series written and drawn by Shinichi Fukuda. Square Enix is publishing it in both Japanese and English. The series received an anime adaptation by CloverWorks in Winter 2022. A sequel was announced in September of the same year, with no details revealed so far. Crunchyroll streams the anime, describing the story:
A loner boy and a flashy girl find common ground via cosplay in this sweet and spicy romcom!

Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world. That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.

My Dress-Up Darling will definitely continue the hype in season 2, and we’ll look forward to future updates!
