The Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle movie has released an anime music video for its theme song “Orange” by SPYAIR. The video highlights the excitement surrounding the intense and emotional match between underdogs Karasuno and Nekoma. It features the lyrics as subtitles (in Japanese).

The release of this anime collaboration music video comes after the film’s success in Japan. Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle is now the 15th anime film to earn over 10 billion yen at the box office in Japan. The news was posted on their official X (formerly Twitter), along with the information that in the 75 days since its release up to April 30, the number of viewers has exceeded 699 million people.
The Haikyu!! movie will also be opening in cinemas this May 2024 in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment are handling its international release with dates from May to June. Production I.G. animated the movie under the direction of Susumu Mitsunaka. Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” But, Hinata soon finds that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles turn into a surprising weapon, but can they beat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated “Dumpster Battle,” the long-awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?

Haikyu!! is a manga by Haruichi Furudate. It was serialized on the Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020. Production I.G. has produced 4 seasons of its anime adaptation, including the first of the two-part finale movie, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, which premiered in Japan on February 16, 2024.
