DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO has revealed a new trailer, introducing new playable characters from the Android Saga. The newly revealed characters confirmed to be in the game include Android 16, Android 18, Android 19, Teen Gohan in his Super Sayan forms 1 and 2, Cell in all his forms, among others . Previously, a trailer was released for the Sayan & Namek sagas, as well as a Swords vs. Fists trailer which featured characters from Dragon Ball Super.
The game is the first entry in the DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series in 15 years, and it will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC starting on October 11. The game is available for both physical and digital pre-orders. As a pre-order bonus, players will have access to the following characters without the need to unlock them in game: Gogeta, Gogeta, Super Saiyan, Gogeta Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, Broly, Broly, Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Broly, Full Power. Also included is a playable character to be revealed later.
The game is developed by Spike Chunsoft, who previously worked on DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will “let players get into epic battles alongside legendary characters from the series.” You can also watch the release date announcement trailer, or the previously revealed Swords vs Fists trailer featuring some characters from Dragon Ball Super.
The Dragon Ball franchise also has the Dragon Ball: DAIMA anime set for an October premiere, as well as the Dragon Ball Theme Park which is in development.
