Blue Exorcist will return with the Beyond the Snow Saga this October, but the third part of the new anime was already announced for January 2025, titled Blue Exorcist: Blue Night Saga. This means that the anime will run for 2 consecutive cours after the first part aired in Winter 2024. Crunchyroll will stream the entirety of the anime.

Studio VOLN animated the Shimane Illuminati Saga, with Daisuke Yoshida as the director. The anime ran for 12 episodes from January 6 to March 23. The new sequel was announced immediately after the finale.
Blue Exorcist anime is based on a manga by Kazue Katou. It started serialization in Jump Square magazine in 2009. The first anime season aired in Spring 2011, but it featured an anime original final arc (episodes 16-25). In 2012, a Blue Exorcist movie was released.
The second season was titled Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga and aired in Winter 2017. It ignored the anime-only arc from the prequel and continued to adapt the manga’s storyline. There is also a side-story titled Blue Exorcist: Kuro’s Trip Away From Home, as well as 2 OVA episodes from season 2. A-1 Pictures animated the whole adaptation.
The manga is available to read on MangaPLUS, while Crunchyroll describes the story:
Assiah, the realm of humans, and Gehenna, the realm of demons. Normally, these two dimensions would never intersect, but the demons are now intruding on the material world.
